| Some areas of most house holds that are
commonly over looked when it comes to locks is
the back of the house and the garage that leads
into the house, Over the past years we have seen
this to be a week point in many house holds, our
recommendations are to have a interlocking
deadlock installed on sliding doors leading from
the garage into the house, and to ensure you
have good quality deadlocks fitted on you rear
doors, as they my be the most likely targets
for burglars to attack. Some locks may look
strong and secure and seem chunky and shiny, but
this does not necessarily mean its giving you
good security. One of the ways to gage your
locks for quality is to look at how they are
fitted, are they installed using the supplied
screws or have they cut corners and used common
screws that that are not suited and not as
strong? Secondly, are your locks attached to the
strongest structure possible? for example if
you have a deadlatch deadlock and it is a slam
shut lock, is there screws going into the frame
or house beam? Commonly this type of lock is
often installed wrong and is installed using 3
or 4 screws that only attach to the thin trim
around the door frame, and the end result is a
lock that looks good and secure but provides no
real strength or security. Should a burglar try
and kick the door it would probably pop open
with minimal effort. Dr Lock locksmith commonly

deadlock in the most secure way, and also to
achieve the neatest installation of the lock
