Once your locks have been recoded – Re keyed – Changed the old keys will not work.

This is most important if you are moving in to a new place to prevent intruders having access to your place.

Often there is no way of knowing who has had keys to your place, or who has had them duplicated.

Our locksmith carry a wide range of key blanks and locks, Allowing them to be able to service your locks onsite and recode them to suit new keys by adjusting the parts inside the locks known as pins or tumblers.

We also offer a security key upgrade for compatible locking systems which increases the locks security. Security keys are a good solution for commercial premises.

The cost of changing your locks is often around $110 - $260 depending on the amount of locks needed to be changed.

We charge a service call which is a fee to attend you residence, and then a fee per lock.

If you have two locks on your front door that work on the same key, That would equal two locks that need to be changed.

We include key matching included into the price of changing the locks, So if you have more then one lock and would like to have them all on the same key for convenience its included. This is also known as “keying alike “common key” or master key “

Please note out prices are upfront and the labour to remove and refit the lock to the door is included. If your lock is faulty or not working their may be extra charge to restore your lock before we can start to change the key. Our locksmith will advise you of any changes once we see and test the lock.
