Dr Lock Shop - Terms & Conditions

Most items we have in stock, if the item is not in stock we will need to order the item from the manufacturer. Allow 7 days for all orders. Some manufacturers take 14 days to deliver to our office, then a few more days from us to you. 

For orders that will take longer than two weeks for us to send, we will email you and let you know. 


We send all items as quickly as possible, any email or phone calls will not speed the process, as we are all reddy moving the orders as fast as we can.



Terms 2018. We have added the ability for customers to have the order delivered without the need for a signature.

This will make it easier for some customers. We have also added the options to leave the order in a spot you select, or you can leave a comment for the delivery driver.

If you use standard delivery with signature, if the delivery does not get delivered we will refund or resend.

If you select "Ok to Leave" you take the risk of your order being stolen or lost on site.

Note – we do not refund if the shipment is lost or stolen from your selection, so if you take the risk and select "Ok to leave" it's at your own risk, it's out of our hands.

It may take longer if you are not home, the delivery driver will leave a card, you then will need to call them and make a new time for drop off.

We make every effort to send your items as soon as possible.

Because of the large amount of items we sell, If we do not have your item at our branch, we will have your item delivered to our branch at no extra cost and post your item as soon as possible.

Please allow up to 7 days for all items, If for some reason there is a delay longer than 7 days, we will email you and let you know. 

  1. TERMS:  The terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales made on the Dr Lock shop wed site www.drlock.com.au/store/index.php
  2. PRICES:  Prices are with out notice subject to change. All goods will be charged at the displayed price on the web site at time of sale.
  3. Payment No goods will be dispatched until payment has been received in full. Please allow 2 days for paypal and up to 5 working days for bank deposit. Money order and cheques can take up to 8 working days.
  4. RETURNS: Goods can only be returned with our agreement, and only if the goods are unopened and untampered.Goods must be returned within 30 days from time of delivery.  Goods made to order are non returnable. Goods which are not installed by a licensed and qualified tradesperson are non refundable.  All goods returned are subject to a 50% handling fee, not including post. Not including GST. Post is non refundable.  You must contact us and we must agree to a refund before a refund will be granted. Contact shoprefund@drlock.com.au .Note all electronic goods are non returnable unless we agree the goods are faulty and grant you a return. All goods must be installed by licensed and qualified technicians. If you order the wrong item or you have changed your mind, you refund will be 50% less post. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, please do not purchess.  
  5. DISCOUNTS: If the item has a bulk discount, it will be listed on the item details, For all other discounts, please contact us to see if a discount is possible on your order  bulkorder@drlock.com.au
  6. DELIVERY:If you order express post, we will sent it express post once the order is filled, from time to time we need to restock and this can take a few days, so even if you select express it may still take up to 7 working days. All deliveries are shipped using Australia Post. If the item is above the size and weight we may chose to use a courier service. You may be required to sign for the delivery and also show identification. We do not take any responsibility for goods lost in transit. We make every effort to package the items with as much protective packaging as reasonable and possible. All delivery charge will be displayed upon check out .Insurance is at buyers discretion and an option, unless order is over $200, then insurance is compulsory.
  7. CLAIMS:  Claims for incorrectly supplied or shortage of items will only be accepted within 10 days. We reserve the right to refuse any claim which is returned below the original postal weight of the delivery.
  8. SPECIAL ORDERS are non refundable.
  9. COLLECTION FEES. We reserve the right to implement debt collectors for any product sold which has not been paid for in full. This includes any type of refund policy that may be possible with any payment service. If the goods have not been paid for and have not been agreed to be returned, We reserve the right to seek collection for the full amount owing and any fees and charges included in recouping any out standing amount owing
  10. GUARANTEE: If a product is not as it should be or faulty. We will send it back to the manufacturer and replace the item including free post back to you. We only offer a manufactures warranty.  This is at the discretion of the manufacturer.
  11. SAFETY: All goods supplied which require installation have installation instructions, all safety procedures must be followed, we take no responsibility for damage or harm or any other liability from any goods or items sold. We make every effort to maintain as much safety as possible. Please read all the instruction included with any item, before using.
  12. RESTRICTED TOOLS: are only available to locksmiths, you will need to provide proof and a current security license. All other sales will be cancelled. No exceptions
  13. KEY MACHINES: are available to every one. Please know that a key machine used incorrectly can be dangerous and all safety procedures should be taken.
  14. FIRE RATED:  If an item has a fire rating it will be noted in the description. Please do not assume the item is fire rated. If you have any doubts please email us for confirmation. Unless it is stated in the description
