E Key & Tel Key  Lock Handle 

This lock is operated by the E Key & Tel key, you can buy this lock and install it on your meter room or any door that the meter reader will need to access to get to the meter room.

The" E " key has been used for many years, it's still in use today.

The benefit of using the "E key" system is that most tradespeople have this key. Trades people such as Electricians Foxtel or  Telstra and more need to access the meter room from time to time. Often the telephone lines, intercom system, and Camera system are located in the same room. For this reason, tradespeople need to also access this room.

It's important to use a system that gives access to the necessary tradespeople.

The Lock

• You will need to select the lock backseat, this is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the lock hole. 60mm - 70mm - 127mm
• The lock will come with the standard 70mm latch if you don't select a different size. 
• The lock is always locked, turn the key to open Shut the door to lock, you don't need to key lock or push a button, just slam the door behind you and it's locked.
• A lock is set to the NMB Key & the keys included with the lock 2 keys are "Not the NMB key - we don't supply this key"
• Fire Rated Lock
• The Colour of the lock is - Silver - satin chrome "If you need a different colour please email"
• Suit door thickness 35 - 45mm
• The outside has a knob - inside has a lever and is always free, suitable for fire exit doors
• The lock includes 2 keys 
• The lock comes set to both the Tel and E key as standard
