Handle lock Door Plate 40mm Wrap 70mm Backset

This plate is made to go around the door edge. When you have damage or the door is splitting, you can use this plate to wrap around the edge of the door and strengthen the door and lock area. If you are having trouble with the edge of the door, and the screws are stripped and will not hold the latch on the edge of the door in place, you would use this plate; this plate gives you mounting tabs for the latch or bolt, and does not rely on the damaged wood on the door for strength.
