Keying For This Lock

Key Alike = Same Key (+$16.50)

Keying Alike: This refers to setting up multiple locks to operate with the same key. For example, you might want all the exterior doors of your house to use the same key for convenience. Select this option to make the locks work on the same key.

2 keys in total will be included for any number of locks you order, order extra keys if needed

Only Ordering 1 Lock

If you are only ordering one lock, then the keying options don't apply. A single lock doesn't require consideration of keying options such as keyed alike, master keying, or keyed differently in most cases, the lock comes with 2 fresh keys.

Standard

By default, every lock is "Keyed to Differ," meaning each lock is assigned its own distinct key.

Unless indicated otherwise in the product title such as "Keyed Alike" or "KA 1" or "KA 2," this means that the locks are keyed alike by the manufacturer as standard "Key alike means = uses the same key"

2 keys per lock are included when ordering locks with standard keying.

Key To Differ = Diffrent Keys

Not Needed

Use Options Not Needed If you're only ordering one lock and the keying options don't apply. If you're ordering a single lock that doesn't require consideration of keying options such as keyed alike, master keying, or keyed differently.
