The Carbine Longreach 60mm mortice lock is a high-performance latching lock designed for commercial and residential doors. With selectable latchbolt projection, fire-rated construction, refined lever operation, and over one million cycle endurance, the Longreach delivers strength, durability, and smooth performance. Fully retrofit-compatible with most existing 60mm mortice locks, it offers a modern upgrade without modifying the door.

• Selectable latchbolt projection: standard 15mm or extended 19.5mm

• Deadlatching works at both standard and extended positions

• Improved deadlatching mechanism operates with door gaps up to 9.5mm

• New Carbine XZ 2-in-1 cam (CSM72-CAMXZ) can lock/unlock handles and retract the latch (compatible with this lock only)

• 45-degree lever action for smooth unlatching

• Fire rated for up to 4 hours

• Hardened steel lock bar cover for added manipulation resistance

• Improved latching to prevent door jamming on closing

• Selectable anti-lockout mode (use supplied Allen key)

• Hold-back mode available using the Carbine hold-back cam (handed)

• Compatible with most electric strikes

• An extended timber faceplate is available (sold separately)

Cam & Cylinder Compatibility:

• Works with oval cylinders fitted with standard W, X, and Z cams

• W-Cam MUST be installed with the leg at the bottom when used with the CSM72-STA

• Through-fixing cylinder escutcheon when used with Carbine Crisi round furniture

Performance Testing:

• Cycle tested to 1,000,000+ operations (exceeds AS4145:2008 D8 rating)

• Corrosion tested to 240 hours (equivalent to AS4145:2008 C7 rating)

• Strength and security tested to the equivalent of AS4145:2008 S8 rating
  Testing conducted with Carbine Crisis furniture
