Chubb Bolt Thrower / Key Curtain – Suits 3G114, 3G115, 3K74, 3K75 | Lock Shop

The Chubb Bolt Thrower (Key Curtain) is a critical internal component used in various Chubb mortice locks, including models 3G114, 3G115, 3K74, and 3K75. This part guides the key and controls the bolt operation during locking and unlocking.

If your lock is jamming, the key isn't turning correctly, or the bolt movement is inconsistent, replacing the bolt thrower may resolve the issue. It’s a common wear item and a practical fix for ageing or heavily used Chubb locks.
