This is a new lock that Gainsborough has released on to the market. Unlike other Mortice locks, this new lock has a longer lock body and longer faceplate. If for some reason you current lock fails or needs to be replaced, you will find its much easier to have a lock that is the same size. Because this lock is bigger than normal Mortice locks, you will be left with holes to fill on the door unless you use the same size Mortice lock. We have added this lock to our lock shop to allow people that do need a replacement 3400 lock are able to find them. Our locksmiths have seen a number of these locks appearing over the past year.

The waiting period to order this lock is from 1-3 weeks. If you require extra parts, please see the link below and find the part you need from the Gainsborough web site. Unless you know the part and the part name/number we will be unable to help you order them. All requests for special orders will need to be done threw email.
