Mortice Locks have been in use for a very long time, there are still a lot of good quality Mortice locks that are still in use today, The Jacksons range of mortice locks, still provide excellent security and work just as they have been doing for the last 50 years. If your Jacksons lock is hard to use or playing up, its time to replace the lock. Often this type of lock is very precise with the keys and parts inside. Most of the parts inside are made from brass and over years will ware down and make the lock hard to use. This is the time to replace the lock with a new one.
