Doric Screen Door Spindle Long

This lock part is for a Doric screen door model number DS2070. If you lock is locked and you force the handle down the spindle will break, this has been the design to prevent the lock from being broken and also provides more security to the lock.

Note this is an after market part, original is no longer made.
